here are some shots from a headshot session i did with aspiring child model and actress yara in san antonio, texas. yara was a lot of fun to work with and extremely confident and relaxed the entire shoot!

creative headshot session with christopher williams, also known as rastinha. yet another great personality to work with. when the creative juices start to flow, there is just no turning back!

instructor gavião – capoeira luanda denver

lately, i have been photographing a lot more people and, as i’m sure you can tell, it has been a blast.

this is a shoot i did the past week with instructor gavião from capoeira luanda. gavião has been training capoeira since 1997, and because of his talents and personality he was an incredibly dynamic subject to work with.

not to mention, this single location in san antonio had so much to offer! it was most certainly a photographer’s playground.

Capoeira Evolução PR shoot

i recently worked with a capoeira group in austin, tx called Capoeira Evolução. the group was in need of updated photography for marketing purposes. of course, with capoeira being one of my deepest passions, i really enjoyed this afternoon of music and photography! perhaps the most fun i have had shooting in years!

bark for peace!™ is a company that makes organic vegan treats for dogs (and their people). i did some food and product photography for the owner of this company, lisa knaggs and i definitely had a blast working with her. lisa is an incredibly passionate woman dedicated to making the world a better place by using organic products along with all recycled and renewable resources to run and operate all aspects of her business. AND the treats are 100% human grade so you can eat them too!
